The first day of summer heralded another gorgeous day in St. Paul, and a stellar turnout accompanied the weather for the Saturday of Back to the Fifties.
The Saturday show has something for everyone - from the children's play area featuring crazy stuff like these kid size hamster balls and kiddie tractor pulls, to the young rodder (meaning mostly under-30), to the MHRA Rod and Repair shop. As always, car clubs members make themselves comfy to hang with their rides (like this classic T-bird that takes the idea of makeup very seriously) and families have fun seeing the gorgeous cars, hearing great 1950s music, and eating fair food. All the fair food!
One of the highlights for us today, in addition to all the great fans and readers who stopped by the booth, was this vintage milk truck. What a beautiful restoration.
Thanks to the MSRA for such a warm, welcoming and wonderful show.
