| The motor is a 355 SBC with a BDS 671 blower, balanced and blue printed, TRW pistons (8.7:1), Isky blower profile cam, high performance heads, Hooker HPC coated headers, big block oiling system, Holly 750 carb, and runs cool. A 700R4 tranny with a mild shift kit and a B&M trans cooler was built to handle the power. The frame has custom cross members and the rear section is boxed. It has a 9” Ford rear end with free ways gears in it. A ‘69 Camaro front clip was mated to the stock frame and was outfitted with Air Ride Tech suspension front and rear. The body of the car is all steel with many custom touches. The roof has been chopped 1.5 inches, the rear lights have been tunneled, it has ‘57 Hawk dash, and was painted PPG Intense Blue Pearl. The car has custom aluminum panels in the engine compartment that look very nice. The exhaust is 2.5” pipe and ran through Borla mufflers. The interior of the car was done in an almond color leather like material with wool carpet and custom floor mats. It has been wired with a Ron Francis wiring kit and also sports Dolphin gauges. The car also has AC, PS, PB, PW, PD, and CD. 17 and 20 inch American Racing Hopster wheels with Goodyear tires handle the ride. The car has 9k miles on it, sits right, runs great, and looks even better!!! The car has been featured in “Super Rod” magazine, has a 2008 Car Craft Top 10 award, and was also a winner at “Good Guys”. Many additional awards as well. |
