Description
Without question the most awarded truck in 2008. Winner of truck of the year in Myrtle Beach, S.C. in March, Alloway Pros Pick at Nashville GoodGuy’s, Truck of the year finalist pick at GoodGuy’s National in Columbus, Builders Showcase selection at NSRA Nationals in Louisville, Elite 5 Pick at Shades of the Past in Pigeon Forge, TN., Top 12 Pick at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas for the Mothers Shine Award and awarded GoodGuy’s Truck of the Year (LATE) in Scottsdale, AZ. Engine is a 454 CI Big Block fed by a 750CFM Demon Carburetor. The Bow Tie Crate Engine produces 425 HP and 500 lb. of torque, Transmission is a 700R4 auto. Truck has a Fatman Fabrication Chassis that was shortened 3.5 inches, boxed, then smoothed and painted. It has stainless steel upper and lower control arms, Ford 9" rear-end was stuffed with 3:70 gears and anchored with a four link suspension, Shockwaves Wildwood 13" discs on front and rear, Air Ride Technologies airbags, 20" Budnik GTX Rims. Custom bed from Dan Carpenter is 3" wider and 3" shorter than normal, rear fenders are 3.5 inches taller to accommodate the 20" Budnik’s, front fender wells were moved forward 5". The wood in the bed is South African Lace Wood finished with 15 coats of lacquer, roof and hood was pie cut, Power windows, Vintage Air/Heat, Power Disc Brakes, Remote Doors, Ididit steering column, Budnik Gasser steering wheel. Leather interior by Hotrod Interiors in Mooresville N.C. Truck was built by Michael Neighbors at Michaels Rod Shop in Franklinville N.C. This truly is an over the top 56 Ford Big Window Truck. The under side is just as slick as the top.
I am offering this truck for far less than the cost to build at only $250,000.00.
