We have an annual gathering to induct persons into the West Capital Raceway Hall of Fame that has been involved in the history of the sport. This last year our event was the "All American Vintage Classic" held at the Roseville Speedway and as our guest we had the Indianapolis winner Parnelli Jones and Hila Sweet (the first woman to receive a NASCAR license to run against the men on the West Coast). We drew over 100 vintage cars from as far away as Vancouver Washington, Boise Idaho, Colorado, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and from the northern tip of California to the southern end with all in-between. This rolling museum put on exhibitions for two days on the quarter mile semi banked oval track and drew about 2,000 people and we expect to double this year as the word as spread what an awesome event it really was.
