This year, Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD) will be celebrated on July 8, 2016. At the request of SEMA, the commemorative day has been marked each year since 2010 by a U.S. Senate Resolution recognizing that the "collection and restoration of historic and classic cars is an important part of preserving the technological achievements and cultural heritage of the United States."

A wide range of events will take place all over the country to celebrate the occasion. As the event has continued to grow over the years, states, provinces, counties, and cities worldwide have followed suit, hosting their own events to celebrate the hobby and its enthusiasts. In addition, SEMA encourages you to participate in celebrations throughout the entire month of July to honor the classics of the past and the future.
