There's a new mile-racing opportunity in town with the opening season of The Colorado Mile, well on the outskirts of town, 40 miles east of downtown Denver, CO. It's a mile track in the Mile High City.
Created by the team behind the Texas Mile and the U.S. Mile, the mile competition represents a partnership with Pit Rally in Colorado to put together a weekend-long event in September 2015.
The event will be held at Front Range Airport, and drivers of sports cars, trucks, concept race cars, land speed racers, and motorcycles are invited to come test their prowess on the new strip. We expect to see some familiar faces, along with some new folks out their, testing speeds and engines, and having a great time.
