My Name is Christine Vesely. Here are a couple of shots of my first hot rod, a 1934 Ford Pickup! I built this from the ground up for my senior project. I go to Trinity HS in North Carolina and endured a grueling time actually building it this far (and drove it to school for the presentation) in 3 1/2 months. Though my dad, Sean Vesely coached me and taught me how to weld and use the machinery, he couldn’t do it for me as they were watching periodically. I used a model A chassis, boxed it, a 1976 Chevy 350 with a 350 turbo and same for the rear, and a Speedway front suspension. Some swap meet stuff in this project too!!!
I was weaned into rodding even before I was born as Dad has a rod shop and being originally from Long Island NY, and we (our family) drove all over the states in his 1933 Chevy Woody.
I just want to show it off, and say," Thanks Dad" for all the knowledge. It is ultra fun being a hot rodder!
