My name is Dustin Ulloa from Martinez, CA. I’ve been in to cars since I was a little kid.
This car has been in my family for almost 30 years.
My dad found it in Brentwood sitting in front of a house being used as target practice.
He asked the original owner if he could buy the car from her and she said as long as you keep it original, which he did. It took him 3 days to dig it out of the clay and mud.
He got it running then painted it and cruised it all over. I was born in 1989 and it was going to be given to me. However, he sold it in 1994, to a teenager. After we sold it, the teen ruined the car in a week, I was real mad.
In 2000 my dad saw the guy and asked how the car was doing and he said it had been sitting in a garage since 1995. So we bought it back after he offered it to us. It was a surprise for me. It sat for a few years after we got it back for me to save some money. We decided to throw a V-8 in it and got it runnin so we could drive around.
Finally in 2007 I had enough money to paint it.
It was in 2008 and now the car is completely done.
