Benefit Association: Gifts From The Heart   Desciption: The Capital City Cruisers in conjunction with the Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort and Gifts From The Heart will host a Car Show Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the newly re-modeled Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort (12222 New York Ranch Road) in Jackson, CA. Gates open at 8:00 AM. Show starts at 10:00 AM and runs to 3:00 PM. Show is limited to 300 cars. Pre-Registration entry fee is $25.00 or you may register at the gate for $30.00. Entry Fee includes entrance to the Show; Dash Plaque; Goody Bag; and One Raffle Ticket. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the ticket booth at the show. All 1975 and older Classic Cars, Trucks, Hot Rods, Street Rods, and Muscle Cars are invited to attend. Clubs with late-model and older cars are welcome. 50 awards in 20 different classes and categories. Awards presented at 2:30 PM. Beautiful tree lined grounds - Blacktop Parking, Opportunity Drawing, Live and Silent Auction Pancake Breakfast - Food Vendors, T-shirts - 50/50 Trivia Quiz - Kids Coloring Contest - Model Car Contest Scavenger Hunt Approximately 1200 Street Rods, Custom Cars and Motorcycles will be on display.  This October show is one of the highlights of the year and all funds raised through entry, raffle, live and silent auction are used to help our veterans and active military in some way.  This show is produced through volunteer efforts and the monies raised are committed where foundation support will make a significant difference.  The Volunteers for Veterans Foundation provides emergency financial assistance to veterans and active military personal. We help with rent, utilities, food and gas. We help provide this assistance to those who are in transition to civilian life and are awaiting VA benefits. Many service members find themselves in desperate need for themselves and their families during times of crisis.
