  We are already rockin' and rollin' in preparation for the 10th Anniversary of THE BEST LITTLE CAR SHOW IN THE NORTHEAST  However, this year we are planning on being “Not So Little” and we couldn’t be more excited. You are not going to want to miss being a part of this TWO DAY EVENT.    On Saturday July 6th, we are teaming up with the Kiwanis Club of Saugerties & hosting a family fun day for everyone, not just your car enthusiast! We are taking over Cantine Field and celebrating with a carnival, a cruise-in, a musical concert, home run derby, skydivers, pig races, hot air balloon rides, fireworks, and much more.   On Sunday, July 7th, once again our village streets of Main & Partition are shut down to traffic and filled with over 500 cars that sure do bring back the memories.  Non-stop live entertainment and a cause that hit home for all of us, brought over 10,000 people to Saugerties last year. Spectator admission is always free to the public.  All of the village shops and resturaunts are open for business. Every year we choose a non-for-profit group and all of our registrations and proceeds of this event go directly to that organization. Fifty trophies are awarded to the best of the best! It's a fun day for kids of all ages.   Gate-N-Go Deadline: July 1st, 2013 The Carlisle Truck Nationals and its show within the show, the Big Rig Show and Shine, are one of the largest and most action-packed truck events in the world. The weekend is a must-attend event and has been the epicenter for all things truck since 1991. Come to Carlisle for a great array of lowered mini trucks, lifted 4x4s, chromed out big rigs, SUV’s, custom vans and the perfectly restored classics. The weekend celebrates trucks of all kinds. Annually, more than 2,000 trucks are part of the judged showfield but more than judged excellence, there is something for the entire family to enjoy. Kids ages 12 and under are admitted free, allowing them and their families to enjoy monster truck shows. Better yet, attendees can climb in for a monster truck ride around the grounds. The family fun continues with the Kids at Carlisle Activity Center, shopping, parts buying at the Manufacturers Midway and much more. In addition to the family fun there will be various competitions with prizes awarded and celebrity guests. The pulse-pounding fun continues with special contests, including burnouts and beauty. The weekend features more than you can imagine. Judging for the event takes place on Saturday only between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This program is exclusive to participants who register for the judged competition. All who registered to be judged must be parked in their designated class, have the judging card available and truck prepared for judging by the 10:00 a.m. Saturday deadline. Judging cards can be picked up at the Guest Services building upon arrival. Online showfield registration is available for the 2013 event. If you'd prefer, registration is also available by calling our office at (717) 243-7855. Please note: refunds will not be issued less than 19 days prior to the beginning of the event and winners' lists are subject to change.
