Porsche Club of America (PCA)  One of the biggest PCA Multi region events (Zonefest) is coming to Sebring this Memorial Day Weekend ( May 24-27). If you have never heard of Zonefest . . . . then here’s the scoop. Once a year all the PCA regions in Florida (Zone 12) get together for a big celebration of everything Porsche.It’s sort of like a mini Parade, filled with competitive activities such as Concours, Autocross, Rally and Tech Quiz, as well as banquets, partying, etc. For 2013 Gold Coast Region is hosting the event at the Chateau Élan in Sebring Florida, adjacent to the world famous Sebring Racetrack.

Central Florida Street Rod Association, 25th Anniversary Fathers Day Rod Run at Park View Hotel (Near LEGOLAND Fla.) Open to all 1972 and earlier vehicles.      Father's Day Rod Run     Our club has held a car show every Father’s Day since 1989 that is appropriately named the Father’s Day Rod Run. It is a two day show that starts on the Friday prior to Father’s Day and ends on the Saturday prior to Father's day. In the past, it was a pre-49 show. Like many other shows, we recently opened registration to all cars 1972 and older. This years show will be back at the Park View Hotel on Cypress Gardens Blvd in Winter Haven. This was the location for many of the early Father's Day Rod Run shows. The hotel is an excellent facility with easy access to shopping, dining and nearby LEGOLAND®. Discount room rates are available to those who make a registration with the hotel before May 15 (details are in the event flyer). Each registrant is given a plaque which contains a dash plaque of the event and a picture of their car at the event. Some of the activities at the show include a live DJ, games, a poker walk, a 50/50, a silent auction and a pick-a-bag  raffle. The top five cars at the show are selected and given a special award. Olden Days started with a bang! On Friday night, The Rhondels, Hot Rods and the Porcine Statuary Christening were seen and heard in the heart of historic downtown Smithfield. The annual celebration included a Kids, Bike and Pet parade, antique cars, antique military vehicles, exhibits, cloggers, beer garden, Blue Grass music, pony rides, dunk tank, Pagan River raft race, ghost walks, music, crafts, art, and the Smithfield Farmers' Market. On behalf of IOW & Smithfield Tourism and the Town of Smithfield we would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting our events and the merchants. This event brought many over night guest to enjoy Smithfield for the weekend.
