We don't always make it to our Home Town opening show "The Boise Roadster Show".... some years we are on the road already to a show in California.... but for the second year in a row, we were able to start off our car show season right here ! This is a small show compared to some around the country, but it's always a nice one. This year there were lots of new cars both from around the country and around the NorthWest. Let's take a look, as we get revved up for Spring and Summer......

The Boise Roadster show is always our first chance of the year to see our good friend Bill

Batchelor of Batch's Rods in Mountain Home, Idaho...... This is Bill with a '41 Plymouth he finished last year. We like to tell folks about really quality shops, and Bill at Batch's Rods really gives you a good job for your bucks ! He's a top notch craftsman and a really great guy.... so if you want a rod built or worked on..... Batch's Rods is not really far away from anyone in the Western States.... and he's well worth the trip. Check it out at

This awesome looking '57 Chevy

is named "Sour Grapes" and you cant tell from these pictures but it's a deep deep purple color. The paint on this beauty was done by Doug Batchelor of Dougs Designs in Mountain Home, Idaho..... yes... he's the son of Bill Batchelor of Batch's Rods.... and this young man is TALENTED.... If you look carefully you'll see a "chrome" emblem that says Sour Grapes on this '57...... but it's not really chrome.... Doug painted it on.... unbelievable work ! If you're looking for something Really Wild for your Car, Motorcycle, or almost anything with a motor check out Dougs Designs.
