The Bright Rod Run was held over the weekend of November 8-10, 2002.  It is held on the first weekend after the Melbourne Cup.  This year over 300 rods rolled into Bright for the Annual Run.  On Friday night there was a sausage sizzle with refreshments provided to those that had entered.  On Saturday, a cruise to Mrtylford Speedway about 30 klms away for activities and lunch.  That night there was a band in the Main Street of Bright.  Sunday was the Show and Shine again in the Main Street of Bright.  Presentation of Trophies at 2 pm before everyone headed home after another successful run.  -  Dale Peucker
