On Saturday, September 28, 2002, I attended the 3rd Annual Cruisin' for A Cure.  The event was held at the Orange County Fairgrounds.  The attendance was amazing.  It was in excess of 2500 cars for a one-day show.  The Cruise is to raise money to help in the fight against Prostrate Cancer.  The President of the Cruise is Debbie Baker.  She works all year long to make this event a success and it was!  The quality of the cars were way above the average.  The parade of fire engines was great.  In the afternoon they honored all of the cancer survivors.  They had excellent day with an outstanding performance by Casey Simpson, a young lady with a lot of talent.  Most of the Major Sponsors were at this event  -  Magna Flow, Edelbrock, Intro Wheels, Centerline Wheels, Budnick Wheels, was just a few that supported this worthy cause.    Thanks to more than 100 volunteers, Debbie Baker, Ross Kroenert V.P., and the staff $170,319, over 550 men were tested and 41 men shown to see their doctors and potentially save their lives. There will be a 4th Cruise which should be better than ever. Thanks for the great day!
