The British are coming.the British are coming. And this ain't no joke On October 27, 2002 the British Broadcasting Company, better known as the BBC arrived at the El Mirage Dry Lakebed.  Their reason for being there was to film a documentary on us in the colonies and our obsession with speed.  They had asked HotRod HotLine to help them find some guys with cars from the 20's and 30's so they could give the world a glimpse back in time to the old days of Hot Rodding we were able to drum up some cars on short notice for them and we think you'll agree that this was truly a sight to see !

There was a wide range of cars.. Roadsters, Coupes,Lakesters,  customs, and a few cool pickups  And check out those young guys with the great old 50's haircuts ..it's good to see young guys interested in our hobby..  That's what will keep it alive for future generations..

Look  at these engines.. These cars are Truly the Oldies but Goodies !
