Mark Novak took a trip up to Monterey, California for their Cherries Jubilee Show this year and says it was great Here's what Mark had to say.
This was my first time at this show and it  turned out to be Quite A Show !  It was actually three events in one...much like Pleasanton used to be, with over 1000 cars attending.  It was a Friday, Saturday and Sunday event which started with a cruise at Cannery Row.  I used a video camera for that part so there are only a few pictures of the cruise.but it was really a sight seeing Cannery Row filled with street rods.

Suppose this was what Cannery Row might have looked like 40 years ago ???

The next day was actually two events. Starting at the Laguna Seca Race Track and ending at downtown Monetery for an evening car show.  Notice in the first pictures at Laguna Seca, the participants had to "catch" their breakfast.  Those are pancakes flying in the air.  I dropped three before I had a full plate.  Participants also were allowed to take laps around the track.  I'm told it is one of the best tracks in California.
