Hi
The Queenscliff Rodrun is held on the first weekend in February.  It starts off with registrations down at the football oval in Queenscliff on Friday night, where there is a BBQ and refreshments put on for entrants and the rods park on the footy oval.  Saturday there was a breakfast before entrants filled out a trivia sheet with a prize awarded to the winner on Saturday night, then everyone cruised off to a day of fun at Adventure Park at Wallington about 12 miles away.  Lunch was supplied at the park before competitions started, like canoe races, archery, mini golf, and other sports while the kids raced around on go carts, bikes, and going down the two big water slides.  Saturday night there was a band back at the oval which finished at 1:30 in the morning.  Sunday started with breakfast at the oval before going over to the Fort for the Show and Shine.  Money raised this year just at the gate alone, raised $9,800 which goes to local charities.  The run is just getting bigger and better every year thanks to the advertising from local papers and radio advertising.  Hope to see more there next year.    From Dale Peucker
