Hi All Here’s some pics I took at the “Rocky Mountain Rod and Custom Show - Creme de la Chrome”, held in Denver, CO, on November 28-30, 2003. It’s put on by Joe Haska and his crew at Greybeard Promotions, and was it ever a great show! I have pics of the Western Complex Arena, which was set up as a realistic 1950’s Nostalgia Rod area, featuring National Winner George Poteet’s new retro ‘32 Ford Highboy Coupe, and dozens of other great retro rods! Darryl Mayabb was also there, doing rod & custom caricatures, drawings, etc. There’s lot’s of pics of all the great retro hot rods, street rods, customs, race cars, muscle cars, dragsters, motorcycles, trucks, some way out bicycles, and even a couple of great old ‘40’s wooden boats. Also a really big “Swap Meet and Car Corral” for cars and parts for sale. There were several exhibit halls full of cars......all in all a really great show, with over 400 cars! There was a great VIP party on Friday night at the host hotel for the Exhibitors and Sponsors, etc., with a great band, buffet, and beverages, put on by Greybeard. Miller Light was a major sponsor of the show, along with several others. Special Thanks to Joe Haska, Kari-his wife, his son David and David’s special lady, Deidra, who all make up Greybeard....for bringing such great shows to Colorado like this one, also the Brag & Drag in Golden, and American Muscle Madness in Littleton. He’s putting Colorado on the national rod and custom “radar” with these great shows. We really appreciate him for that!!! So, let’s get on with the show!!! Enjoy ... Alan & Terrylee!!!
