Hi All
It only took one word to describe the Frog Follies this year.HOT!!!  We drove up Friday evening through the worst weather I've ever driven through in my life.  We later found out we had just pasted through a tornado watch.  Those things follow us everywhere.  Everybody we talked to Saturday, said it was extremely hot Friday.  It really took a dedicated rodder to enjoy the show Friday.  I didn't get to take as many pictures this year as I would've liked.  I spent most of the day lugging stuff back to the truck, Kimberly was buying in the swap meet. Yeah, you read that right, she spent most of the day wearing out the swap meet.  God, I love that woman!!!  Who would have ever thought you could find a '50's dinette at a car show, but she did it.  I also got to noticing that after I get home and look my pictures over, I've taken pictures of the same cars at every show.  Oops, sorry about that.  Those cars just stick above the rest to me.  I've also noticed you can't let your car sit in one place to long at the Follies or you'll come back and find frogs climbing all over it.  Oh yeah, I have to give a shout out to my favorite car club the Junkyard Dogs out of Georgetown, IL.  Those folks have a ball no matter what.  I'll shut up now so you can get on to the pictures.Enjoy...Butch!!!

Lesson 101.How not to make friends with Mr. Photographer.  Notice the little man riding the red scooter?!  Just tooling along, not a care in the world.  Nobody else in the world but me.then next picture.hey that sure is a wild looking car.oops.you didn't see the fellow RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU TRYING TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THAT CAR!  At least I didn't drop the camera when I got ran over.  He didn't even notice he ran into me!!!
