Hi Guys & Gals
Just got back from the Shades of the Past Run in Pigeon Forge, TN, and as usual it was a great show.  This was the first year for the Shades to include cars up to 1964 and in my personal opinion it was great.  I like to see the added variety of cars, don't get me wrong, I'm first and foremost a Street Rodder but if it has wheels and a big engine, I love it.  This show always draws the finest machines of any show I attend and this year was no exception.  The quality of cars was unsurpassed, no way would I attempt to choose just 25 cars for awards, my hat is off to the Judges.  The weather was great, although there had been a lot of rain prior to the show and the grounds were somewhat muddy, still, in places, I think everyone had a great time.  There were so many nice cars that even Minnie had a rough time making her decision, and now for the Minnie's Pick (drum-roll, please) Mike and Sheila Woods, Athens, TN are the lucky recipients of the coveted Minnie's Pick Award.  And now I think I need to rest and recoup because we will be going back to Pigeon Forge, TN this weekend for the Fall Grand Run.  Jack and Mary Ann Lawford will be joining us there for this one, so look for some great Show coverage.  And if you are interested in listing your car for Sale on HRHL visit Mary Ann in the HRHL booth inside the building.  And look for all of us and if you would like to see your car on HRHL just come up and grab one of us by the arm and say "Come on, You gonna shoot my car for HRHL", see, and I don't want no lip, see.  Who says that, I say that, I'm Jack Roberts reporting on the important stuff for HRHL.  See Y'all at The Fall Grand Run in Pigeon Forge.  Jack!!!
