Hey Gang
On Friday, October 10, 2003, we were fortunate to attend Ice Man's Endless Summer Cruise, the 6th Annual Edition, held in Wal-Mart parking lot in Winchester, KY.  Now Ice Man is a Local DJ who does many Car Shows during the year, including the Pumpkin Run in Owensville, OH.  And believe you, me, he knows how to do it right.  I plan to be there again next year.  There were 350 cars in attendance and it went on into the wee hours of the morning.  I know you want to get on to the show pics, BUT, just hold ya hosses, I got something I want to share with you, my friends.  As a rule I don't toot my own horn about awards, etc., that I may receive, but I'm gonna make an exception here, because the members of The Rebel Rodders Car Club awarded my car The David Means Memorial Trophy, so you say whoopee do, but just wait a minute and listen to me.  After I accepted the award I thanked each member and talked to them for a while, and I was truly impressed by what I learned about David Means, I mean I was saddened by not having had the honor of meeting and knowing him, then I came away thinking now this was my kind of guy.  Minnie and I stood and talked to George and his lovely wife, Jenny, for perhaps a couple of hours, and listened to them relate stories and tales about David.  And more than once they had to stop and recompose before going on, Minnie and I both saw and felt how much love all the Rebel Rodders Car Club members had for David Means.  I mean we were blown away.  That would be the ultimate, to know that I had touched so many peoples heart in such a manner that they would miss and love me forever.  Take my word for it, there is no greater treasure here on Earth than true friends and loved ones.  We sometimes have a tendency to take them for granted.  That would be my dream, to be loved and missed the way David Means is.  Who says that?  I say that, and I say to David Means, Keep on Kroozin' Brother, your legacy will live on forever in the minds and hearts of your friends.  Now I've had my say, go enjoy the show pics and may God Bless You and Yours!  Jack!
