Hey Gang
Ray Schuler went to the 11th SouthEastern GoodGuys Nationals in Charlotte, NC., on October 29-31, 2004. Ray got lots of pictures of all the great rides and even more that were there.... There was lots to see at the show and we’re happy to be able to share it with all of you.... guess what, you don’t even have to leave your seats for this!!!  Enjoy the show!!!

Ray drove his flamed '54 Stude to Charlotte & was so amazed when he saw an almost identical paint job on this nice T-Bird Rod, owned by Keith & Patsy Dorton from Concord, NC.

A visit to Dennis Carpenter’s was worthwhile.  Note the
price of Gas in this old sign -- 10 cents a Gallon!!!

The sign above reads:  These 2 license plates are examples
of what are known as ‘Soybean Plates’. In an effort to
conserve metal during WWII, some states experimented
with producing these plates using a composite material
which used soybeans as a main ingredient.  License plate
lore has it that goats would eat the plates right off the
bumpers of cars, but we’ve yet to encounter a single goat
willing to step up & confess to this heinous crime.
This is a cute sign, huh?!!
