Here�s some pics from the 25th Annual �Thin Air Nationals� held in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado, on July 3rd, 2004. This show is put on by a bunch of really great street rodders from the Colorado Springs Rod & Custom Club and is it ever a super show! It started with a pre-registration party and cruise-in at a �50�s diner and car wash in Colorado Springs, just outside the entrance to the Garden of the Gods, on Friday night, July 2nd, just before the show on Saturday. The show was held around a big lake in town, with a walkway out to the middle of the lake where there�s a large gazebo... that�s where the rock and roll band plays... rods & customs are parked all the way around the lake, a good share are on the grass and under huge old trees for shade. A natural stream runs on the other side of the cars. It�s one of the friendliest, most relaxing shows you�ll ever attend! There were three restaurants within a block or two, with outdoor patios so you can relax and watch the cars! Terrylee caught a trout while fishing from the walkway, and to cap off a perfect day, it was their 25th Anniversary show, and we won a Top Ten trophy! We couldn�t believe our ears when they called our names! So enjoy the pics!!! Alan & Terrylee!!!
