Hi All
The 30th Annual NSRA Nationals South in Knoxville, TN., was as usual All that and a bag of chips! This is a beautiful park to have a show in and hopefully it will remain there for years to come. I dont usually mention restaurants but we had been hearing about a new one in Knoxville called Quaker Steak and Lube. Everything in the place is car related. When you walk up to the entrance, the first thing you see is chrome truck bumpers for hand rails going up the steps. Gas pump nozzles are used as handles on the front doors. Theres a 42 TV in the floor at the hostess stand... which is the front end of a 55 Chevy.  A Tony Stewart massive toolbox is used for holding extra silverware and other such items at the hostess stand. Everywhere you look there are TVs.... gas pumps with TVs... theres even a TV in the restrooms. A #40 Silver Bullet Sterling Marlin Dodge and four Harleys are all hanging from the ceiling. This is a really cool place to see and the food is great too. They even have hot wings so hot that you have to sign a release form before you eat them.  Thats HOT! The first batch of pictures I took are slides and someone else scanned them for me. That explains why they look different from the rest. Put this show on your list for next year.  You dont want to miss it!  Hope you enjoy the show...... Butch!!!
