Bailey's Pub in Greenville has a cruise-in every other Saturday afternoon. Good food, cold adult beverages and 30 to 40 nice cars. This cruise-in is just getting off the gound. Under the hood of the 41 Plymouth rag is definite potential Hemi territory. If you look closely at the 55 Chev you'll notice that it's right hand drive. The car was shipped from California to Australia by the current owner who had the conversion done. When his job with Michelin was transferred back to the states, he left it as it was. The chopped 40 sedan belongs to the guy who puts on the cruise-in. I just liked the looks of the 64 GTO. The Chevy powered Stude is for the Baker boys.

On my way home from Bailey's cruise-in, as I was stopped for a red light, a couple pulled up beside me and told me they were in a bind and would I be able to help them. I took their phone number and when I got home I called them. Seems their son's class was having its senior prom and it was a 30's theme. The person who was going to bring an antique car to the event reneged at the last minute. I offered to help them out, telling them that their 2000's class with a 30's theme would be represented by a 30's car with a 2000's theme. They were ok with that. The prom was held in a hangar at the Greenville Downtown Airport. The students and chaperones were tickled pink. I'll let the pictures tell the rest.

Thank you for the pictures of the Cruise-In and the Prom. We did enjoy them.
