"One of the greatest get togethers in Central Texas is the gathering in Boerne (pronounced burney) each year for pre-1950 hot rods. It's put on by The Pride Of The Hills car club and the gathering is called "The Key To The Hills" This year saw about 500 of Texas' best rods and customs gathered around the town square and up and down Main Street. In fact, it's the only time a state highway in Texas is ever blocked off for anything besides construction. I hope y'all enjoy these pictures. Richard "Too Low" Haas, Member of the Donut Gang
