Wayne and I are on a long road trip. We drove our 1940 Ford to Dawsonville, Georgia last Friday. On Saturday, October 22, we attended the 38th Annual Mountain Moonshine Festival. They had arts and crafts and old cars downtown. They had 460 old cars at Thunder Road for the car show. You can see from the pictures that there were MANY FORDS! We really enjoyed talking to David Pearson and having a picture taken with him. After visiting friends in Young Harris, Georgia, we drove to Greer, SC. We met other cruisers at Southern Rods and enjoyed a wonderful meal. That afternoon we drove to Charlotte, NC for the GoodGuys Car Show in Charlotte, NC. Judy Newkirk, Jacksonville Rod Runners
