On Friday night, I went to the VIP/Media Reception where there was more horsepower in one small room than should be legal.  �Gentleman Joe� Schudeck, The Dead End Kids, Hubert Platt, Eldon Sidebotham, Speedy Bill Smith, S&S Racing team members and longtime friend Ken Hirata, who with Phil Hobbs and Bobby Vodnik�s wheel skills, won the US Nationals in 1963 over the legendary Don Garlits.
