I had some time to kill...believe that or not...and was in Colusa County on one of those great warm and sunny fall afternoons and decided to do some "Alley Surfing" for some old tin. I have been motivated to do this off and on for a long time particularly when I hear people say there is no more "original steel" cars out there to to restore, fix up, hot rod or turn into exotic, award winning creations. I'm here to tell you that there is more old tin out there just waiting to be found and given a second life. To be sure, not every vehicle I shot was for sale at a bargain price or even for sale at all. But, the photos you'll see were taken in less than three hours on a random Saturday afternoon in several small Northern California cities. A couple of photos in particular illustrate my point, the '49 (I think) Kaiser-Fraizer Deluxe and the '58 T-Bird, were sitting a stones throw from down town Williams, which is located right off the busy I-5 in Northern California. Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now...enjoy the photos. Bob Choisser in Vacaville, CA.
