"In Bastrop, Texas, the threatening weather didn't keep local Hot Rodders from showing up at the Bastrop Area Cruisers Annual Fourth of July Weekend Bar-B-Q and Get-Together. In fact, the overcast weather was a welcome relief from last years scorching temperatures.Several Austin area clubs were invited as well as the regular Saturday Night Cruise-In crowd. Everyone that showed up was treated to a fine Bar-B-Q feed as well as a great assortment of side dishes brought by the participants. And after dinner and some more tire-kickin' it was time for the Fourth Of July Fireworks Show put on by the City Of Bastrop.
