Onawa�s 24th Annual Swap Meet Weekend was hosted by the members of the �CLASSICS� Car Club this past Saturday and Sunday, August 20 at the Monona County Fairgrounds.
This year�s Swap Meet attracted vendors from 9 states, including Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Montana, and buyers from as far away as Florida and Colorado.
The Swap Meet is a Craft Fair, Flea Market, Farmer�s Market, Garage Sale, and Yard Sale. . .to the �extreme�. . .with literally, �Something for Everyone.�
Those in attendance bartered for a variety of new and used items including Antiques, and Collectibles, Crafts, Woodcraft Items, Baked Goods, Clothing, Jewelry, Southwestern Items, Handbags, Glassware, Furniture, Dolls, Die Cast Toys, Records, Cassettes, CDs, DVDs, Elec-tronics, Sports Cards, Books & Literature, Auto Parts & Ac-cessories, Vehicles For Sale, Tractors & Parts, Tools & Equipment, Lawn & Garden Equipment, Petroleum Memorabilia, along with Exhibits & Displays ALL WEEKEND!!
Of course, the Swap Meet also brings everyones favorite foods, with a variety of GREAT concessions on the grounds, including Funnel Cakes, Kettle Korn, the LARGEST (homemade) Pork Tenderloins, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Sloppy Joes, Gyros, Brats, Nachos, Cold Drinks, Cheese Fries, Onion Rings and more.
