Here are some pics we shot at the indoor 10th Anniversary of the Rocky Mountain Rod & Custom Show, Creme de La Chrome, held at the Western Center in Denver, Colorado on November 24-26, 2006. Joe Haska and his family and crew have been doing this show through Greybeard Promotions, Inc., for ten years now, and what a show it is! This year one of the featured cars was “Impression”, the Ridler-winning 6 1/2 year build based loosely on the lines of a 36 Ford Roadster, built by Chip Foose for local Denver resident Ken Riester. There was also an exceptional re-creation of the Doane Spencer 32 Roadster. The show included hot rods, customs, muscle cars, motorcycles, race cars, and this year a special to the 75th anniversary of the 32 Ford. The lower level of the hall included a 50’s-60’s drive-in populated by traditional rods, customs, ols school and suede rods and customs. Hope you enjoy the pics.
