Syracuse based Right Coast Association, automotive events organizers, have brought their “Cool Cars & Hot Happenings” to Daytona, Florida. Since March of this year, Right Coast and Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona have co-hosted a cruise-in every third Saturday. Although cruise season has ended in the Northeast, cruising was alive and well at the November event. Hundreds of cars were on display and many more onlookers enjoyed the streetrods, classics, muscle cars, tuners, and exotic sports cars. Music was provided by both a DJ and live band. The festive mood continued into the evening hours. More than just a car show, Destination Daytona Cruise Night provides a total cruise/car show experience. The cruise area is located in the center of the massive 150 acre complex which houses the largest Harley Davidson dealership in the world, the Arlen Ness Custom Motorcycle dealership, Daytona Pig Stand Bar-B-Q Restaurant, Destination Daytona Hotel and Suites, Saints and Sinners Pub, condominium complex, retail outlets and fast food restaurants.
On hand for the November cruise was Right Coast President Bob O’Connor and New York based freelance automotive photographer Frank Forte.
Destination Daytona is conveniently located in Ormond Beach off of I-95 at US1. Cruisin’ Destination Daytona is held the third Saturday of each month from 6 until 9. For information call 800-753-3978 or visit www.rightcoastcars.com.
