Here are some pictures that I took at the Indy Goodguys show. The first were taken while waiting in line for the track tour of the Indy 500. I noticed a lot of roadsters with California plates, and upon talking to the guy parked next to us, I learned that they were part of what they called Follow Andy To Indy. There were 60 cars in the group and they were at the Littleton, Colorado Goodguys last weekend and were planning to be back to Pomona on Fathers Day for the show there.
After taking a lot of pictures at the Goodguys show, I went back to my car for a sandwich and a drink when I noticed a golf cart with someone driving that I knew. It was Dick LaHaie, his wife, and his car builder who is currently building Dick a 49 Woody. For those of you who do not follow NHRA Top Fuel, Dick LaHaie was the crew chief for the Miller Lite Top Fuel Car that Larry Dixon pilots.
The last set of pictures were taken at the Adams Mark Hotel on Friday night. What a party! We had a very nice trip but the rain came on Saturday morning, and we decided to head home. Hope you enjoy the pictures! George Reed
