Hey Gang, The Somernites Cruise Team (www.somernitescruise.com) held their first Cruise for 2006 on Saturday, April 22, 06 in Beautiful, Historic, Downtown Somerset, Ky, and Minnie and I were there to record it for you. On Friday evening they held their Classic Auto Auction at JR Jackson�s Auto Auction in Somerset, Ky. The weather was a bit wet but never less they had a great Auction. On Saturday morning Gil Russell escorted a group on a Cruise from Somerset to London, where they toured a major Walmart Distribution Center. Leaving there they then went to Donnie Martins, where they viewed Donnies Classic Cars, Donnie had probably 50 Cars on Display and also treated the Cruisers to a large Cook-out. And believe you me the food was great as was the hospitality. On behalf of all the Cruisers that were there I would like to thank you, Donnie Martin, it was great and we only hope you will do it again. From there we made our way back to Somerset where we joined the Cruise-in in Downtown Somerset. For Minnie and myself, this was the first event of the year, and everything was perfect, the weather was Super and we really enjoyed seeing all our great friends again. I wish to thank all the Members of the Somernites Cruise Team for all they do for Sport. If you have never been to one, its a must go event. Now enjoy the pics. Jack
