Once again, we were off yesterday on a short rod run to Sacramento Vintage Ford's start of their 8th year of Friday Night BBQ & Car Shows. Over 250 cars cruised in during the hot afternoon and thankfully cooler evening to enjoy barbecued hamburgers, hot dogs and a couple of free Blak® Cokes that were being introduced in the Sacto market by the local Coke Cola rep. For those that haven't been to Vintage Ford's show room...well...if it doesn't take you back to the 50's, then nothing will. I've included several shots taken of the inside of this great place. Even if you don't need to buy something, it's a great place to enjoy. And if you do need a Ford restoration or hot rod part, the counter guys are really helpful. (Sorry if that sounds like a commercial, but Vintage Ford is as much a museum as a parts show room.)
