The Altamont Cruisers put on the 18th Annual Nostalgia Day Car Show in downtown Livermore, California on Sunday, September 30th. The show is free to the public who are encouraged to buy raffle tickets and visit the shops that are open. I found a great toy store with lots of wooden toys, and a cut down VW bus in front. The car show is a fund raiser for anti-drug programs in the area. The downtown streets have been renovated and changed this year so the car show was bigger and they had a live band. The Cruisers had over 700 cars and that is a new record. I look forward to next years show. Dean Court |
