Every year my friends and I make the journey from the San Fernando Valley to the Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield for the NSRA Western Nationals; this year was the 31st show and it hosted over 2,500 pre-1949 rods and cars of every category. There was a constant cruise line rolling through the fairgrounds, over a 100 vendors, entertainment for children and of course many food vendors. Although the weather was hot we had a great time and are looking forward to attending again next year....enjoy the pictures. Les Bateman
