In this year of the 75th Anniversary of the 32 Ford, there are numerous events featuring them. The Detroit Autorama was no exception, with a fine display of dozens of 32 Fords, in addition to the normal competition of 32 Fords, in the various classes, and for the Ridler Award. In this selection of pictures, you will find them pre-sorted by body style, making it a little easier to do comparisons of them, or to find your favorite style.
Starting with the two door sedans, and moving into the second most popular body style, the 3 window, we see some classic examples of the style, along with the famous Catallo/Beach Boy Deuce Coupe, which is always a delight to see all of the wonderful period details on the car. Then you have the timeless 5 window coupes, followed by the ubiquitous roadster, arguably the most popular and iconic hot rod of all time. Finally, there are a few select examples of the less common roadster pickup, sedan delivery, and phaetons.
For the fan of the 32 Ford, this will be a great year to see all of the infinite variations on a theme, and to know that there are a wonderful variety of ways to build the most popular hot rod of all time!
