Featherly Park at Canyon RV Park in Anaheim, CA. was the location for this year’s 25th Anniversary of The F-100 Western Nationals. The day was perfect for showing off almost 200 pre-’79 very sharp Ford trucks. They came from as far away as Ohio, several came from Nevada, Arizona and N. California. The DJ music was skillfully provided by Dan Cangro. An interesting feature at this event is that several of the many vendors provided “Tech Seminars” on things like brakes, air filters, suspensions, garage equipment, detailing products. Some of the award winners were;
“Best of Show” – Ron Smith – ‘56
“Pre’53” – Bob Beauchamp – ’48
“’53-‘55” – Larry Willett – ‘55
“’56” – Barb Baxter – ‘56
“’57-‘66” – Doug Dunlap – ‘64
“’67–’79 – Ray Ruiz – ‘72
