Here's a small article on a "garage crawl" we did last weekend. "One of the things that members of the Donut Gang enjoy doing as a group is touring local speed shops, hot rod dealers, and private collections. This past weekend we headed out on a tour of several collections and a new-to-the-area dealership.
After an early morning 70 mile cruise through the Texas Hill Country, we stopped in Fredericksburg for breakfast, where we were joined by a couple of local rodders. Then it was on to "Sweet Dreams" for a look at their inventory (about 80 cars in all). The private collections we looked at were nothing short of incredible!
Then we were off to Donut Gang member Ron Kitchens new home for some great Bar-B-Que and a look at his new shop. Ron's wife, Linda, not only put out some great chow, but she made us all feel very welcome. What a fine way to enjoy a beautiful weekend!" Richard "Too Low" Haas
