"Autorama means several things here in Texas. First, it means an indoor car show (Houston, Dallas, San Antonio), which is nice 'cause you can go regardless of the unpredictable (anymore!) weather here in Cowboy land. But most important, it means a well organized car show with nothing but the finest examples of hot rods, customs, restorations, rat rods (or traditional as the Larivee's call them), along with vendors, specialty cars, music and other entertainment to keep the kids happy, and a fine auction. But, enough of the commercials!
The Houston Autorama (at the George R. Brown Convention Center) was over 450 cars strong this year and the hard part was knowing I couldn't write them ALL up or get photos of ALL of them! So I concentrated this year on capturing the stuff that stirred up my personal interests.
I hope y'all enjoy them."
