"For the past 5 years, Mike and Marilyn Cambell have been the driving force behind the Main Street Show-N-Shine in Marble Falls, Texas, which is a short, pleasant cruise from Austin. This year the Marble Falls Jaycees have taken over, and there was some worry about this fine show changing. Not to worry! Mike, and especially Marilyn, are still somewhat involved, and the show was as good as always!
Downtown Marble Falls is a great spot for a car show and has been spruced up by the addition of some very tasteful sculptures throughout the area. The turnout was close to 200 cars, and there was something there for everyone's taste, from mean and nasty Hot Rods to very tasteful, restored classics. The weather, which is always unpredictable in Central Texas, was wonderful and the 6th Annual Show-N-Shine was a hit. We are all looking forward to next year.
