Hi Everyone!!!........ Here's some pics of the 10th Annual Merchantville Main Street Sock Hop & Car & Bike Show. Located in South Jersey close to Philadelphia area on Saturday July 7, 2007. The show had over 850 cars & bikes in attendance with over 12,000 spectators filling the streets from end to end with 9 DJ's spin turns all day long . The Town of Merchantville was primarily farm land until about 1851. Rumors of the coming railroad were the impetus for land acquisition. Although the town was originally part of Stockton Township, the citizens of Merchantville petitioned the state to become an incorporated Borough. This became effective May 18th, 1874....
