The Schenectady East Rotary Club held its 3rd Annual Patriots Day Custom and Classic Car Show on the Grounds of the Historic Mabee Farm on Rt. 5s Rotterdam Jct. N.Y. On Sunday Sept. 9th. 2007. This Farm has the Oldest Standing house in the Mohawk Valley dating back to 1680. Also on the grounds is an ongoing project by Volunteers to build a replica of New York's first ship of 1614, The Onrust. This project is looking for Volunteers for Labor, Money and/or Materials for its continued success.

Proceeds from this Show is to Benefit the Schenectady Historic Society for Up keep of this Historic Site. The Website for the Ship building project is: www.theonrust.com. It was a Overcast day with intermitting showers, temps in the low 70's, Not exactly Car Show weather and the turnout for this Show reflected that. But hope you enjoy my pics of the faithful Car Show affectionatos and of the Onrust Project. Tom Poremba
