My wife Yvonne loves taking pictures and she is glad to share them with other car-nuts like us. She was having fun-in-the-sun when Bobby Sherman offered to hand-cuff her. Of course, they were just having fun. As you all know, Bobby has been working for the Riverside Sheriff's Department and was a popular singer in the 50's thru the 70's, with many hits, such as 'Easy come, easy go'. He was doing duty 'for the kids'. He has a big heart for them as Yvonne and myself do.
I brought my 1979 Clenet Series I, # 228/250. It only has 4,400 miles on it. I also showcased the JX Concept Coupe, a one-off concept car. The car show was called the Temecula Rod Run Show, whose purpose was fundraising for the Boys and Girls Club. The 'Cruising for the Kids' benefit car show dates were March 9th & 10th, 2007. It was a sell-out, as over 700 cars showed up and they had to turn many cars away, as they had no space left. The streets were full of car enthusiasts of all ages and I was told that over 70,000 people came out to see the show. It was a huge success! I would definitely urge car-lovers to be there to help the kids again for the ninth annual Temecula Rod Run Show on October 12th &13th, 2007.
