May 2, 2008 Dream Machines is a show with 2000 driving, flying, and working machines. Music, airplane and helicopter rides, and some great old WWII planes can be found there. The show is spread out over several hundred acres, so good walking shoes is a must. They do have a bus that moves people from the cars to the airplane area. Dean Court

May 1, 2008 My friend Perry Ashworth went on a rod run to Austin, Nevada last week and sent me pictures. Now many of you are going to say That I have never heard of Austin, Nevada. Well, it is a small almost forgotten mining town of maybe 300 people on the old Lincoln Highway. This was the way west before the big new interstate came through farther North. April 25, 2008 Here are my pictures of the 2008 Mild to Wild show at the Tacoma Dome. This show has it all, from mild Ramblers to Ferrari powered " RIDLER" winners, Mild Deuces to completely restyled deuce hot rods. I haven’t seen this many 40 chevs in one place before. April 17, 2008 Wayne and I drove out two VW's to South Jacksonville Beach Sunday for Volkswagens At The Beach Car Show. The show was sponsored by SEVWC Jax Chapter. Mother nature was not good to us. It rained all Saturday night and well into Sunday morning. But around 10:30 a.m. the sunshine came through! There were over 100 VW's both old air-cooled and newer water-cooled.
