Hot Antioch Nights #9 produced by Pete Paulson the “Wheel Man”, dirt track racer and all around nice guy. The contra Costa Fairgrounds were open to all American made and powered cars, trunks and motorcycles. Pete does his best to keep American Graffiti Alive. A giant raffle, pin striping and airbrush work were available to everyone. The sun was bright, but there was a slight breeze at the fairgrounds, so everyone felt comfortable. Candy Clark from American Graffiti was their featured guest this year. Some cars parked under trees and others parked on the field.
