California Car Cover Company hosted its 13th Annual National Street Rod Association (NSRA) Appreciation Day Car Show on Sunday, May 18, 2008. This year’s event honored Galpin Auto Sports (GAS), one of Southern California’s leading custom shops and the force behind MTV’s popular show, “Pimp My Ride.”

Several Kustom Kulture vehicles from the Galpin collection were on display, including icons from Ed “Big Daddy” Roth and George Barris. Other unique creations were showcased by Galpin including the first 2007 BOSS 302 Mustang and the 800 horsepower ’65 diesel-powered Impala “Bio Rocket.”
