Hey Guys and Gals, The London Cruisers held their monthly Cruise, Crusin on Main, on Saturday June 7, 2008, in Beautiful downtown London, Ky, and it was a total success. If you have never been to the quaint little town of London, nestled in the mountains of southeastern Ky, well then you must plan to do so. London is without question the most beautiful city in the mountains of Ky, with its Tree and hanging Flower lined streets, perfectly manicured, to its Majestic restored historical buildings and you combine all that with the warm, friendly southern hospitality of the people. It is enough in its self to make one want to make the journey. Then you add the hundreds of beautiful Cars and Trucks scattered throughout the beautiful Streets combined by the Great Crusin Music furnished by the King of the Car Cruises, IceMan, and the thousands of spectators making their way through the maze of cars as well as Food and Parts vendors, and it makes for a must be there event. This is the fastest growing event in this part of the country, and you don't want to miss it, trust me! You can keep abreast of all the happenings by visiting their web site www.cruisinonmain.com . There are too many things happening for me to list, i.e., they kick everything off on

Friday evening with a block party at K Mart with live bands and all sorts of entertainment going until the wee hours and then on Saturday Mornings they always have something planned like touring local car collections, local drag strip, etc, or just a relaxing Scenic Cruise thru some the areas beautiful scenic attractions. Everyone then returns to Main Street for the show and shine or should I say, just wandering thru the beautiful streets looking at all the Fantastic Vehicles, socializing, meeting old friends and, yes, making many new ones, all the while The IceMan is playing all the great Oldies but Goodies Songs, that we love so well, as well as awarding door prizes and playing various games and Trivia, also with prizes. Then at 8pm everyone leaves for the strip and Hardees where DJ, Vernon 'The Cruiser' Lunsford plays more Oldies and keeps things lively until around 12pm. This Cruise is held each month on the first Saturday, May thru October. I cant begin to tell you all the things going on, all I can do is invite everyone to join me there on Saturday, July 5, 2008, and share in the fun with me. Now, I think I have run my mouth enough, check out these pics and see if it doesn't make you want to be there next month, and be sure and stop by and say Hi to me, nothing I like more than making new friends, and who knows yours may be the next new face on Hotrodhotline. Until next time, May God Bless You and Yours from Me and Mine! Jack
